Guidance Counsellor Contest Rules

This award was designed to recognize Canadian guidance counsellors who have demonstrated excellence in their field by having a profound and lasting impact on their students’ professional and/or personal lives. The contest is restricted to current and past high school students across Canada.

Entry deadline and other important Dates:

Contest opens: September 1st, 2005
Contest closes: July 31st, 2006

Winner Selection:

UC411 feels strongly that all guidance counsellors nominated by their students are winners in their own right. However, the winner of the 2006 UC411 Guidance Counsellor of the Year Award will be the counsellor with the most nominations. If there is more than 1 counsellor with the same amount of nominations, a Counsellor and matching Student will be chosen at random from the group that tied. For a nomination to be valid, all information submitted on the form must be accurate.

Winner notification:

Contest winners will be notified by email and phone, so please be sure include both for yourself and your guidance counsellor.

  • Please Note: The dates in these rules are subject to change at the sole discretion of UC411.com.

Who can enter?

You are eligible to enter if you are or were actively enrolled as a student at an accredited educational institution or home school that grants high school, career college, or college/university (or equivalent) degrees.

How many entries can you submit?

Each individual is limited to one entry.

General standards for entries:

The contest entry must be completed in full to qualify.

Prize Conditions:

No substitution or transfer of prize permitted, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. If a winner cannot or will not accept a prize, then the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next highest scoring entry. All prizes and prize value are stated in Canadian dollars.

Please Note: All letters, comments, pictures, photographs, drawings, and correspondence become property of UC411.com & Great Exposure. By entering the Contest you agree to all of the rules and regulations above.
