Enrolling in Courses at JIU

Most JIU courses are offered in 8-week terms.

There are twelve terms per year, and new courses begin the first Sunday of every month.

Admission applications to degree programs are accepted on a continuous basis throughout the year.

Students may enroll in any course or set of courses without acceptance to a degree program. However, JIU recommends a student apply for admission to a degree program before taking their fifth (5th) JIU course.

JIU does not guarantee that every course will run every term in every format. In order to assure a highly interactive educational experience, JIU will not run a course with fewer than three (3) students enrolled.
